Special Children’s Christmas Party

Special Children’s Christmas Party held on November 21 at the Canterbury Stadium for a great time of celebration great food entertainment and pressies.

Getting to be Goofy.

Sunday the 21st of November was the annual Radio Network – Special Children’s Party here in Christchurch, which was attended by quite a few of our local children.

Those who made it such a special time for Elijah and also to help those who attend have a great time. This was the first year that I attended with my daughter Francesca who

Wanted to come and help and see what it was all about. As I arrived in the crew area this year I was told they were short of someone to be “Goofy” and would I be interested.

So I said yes and thanks to some help from the face painting team, I think I resembled “Goofy”. Some kids recognized me – some read the name on the hat.

I had a great time interacting with those attending – smiling waving, dancing, hugging, having photos, dancing some more signing autographs and generally having a ball.

It was an incredibly warm costume, did I also mention I scared more children in one day that I think I had in my entire life.
